Scott Kirsner of The Boston Globe ran an article (“Ambitious Studio Projects Could Make Massachusetts a Center for the Film Industry” ) this week. Among other things, the article talks about a $25 million donation from Plymouth Rock Studios to the MIT Media Lab to create a new Center for Future Storytelling. According to the article, the MIT Media Lab will have a “satellite outpost” at the new studios, serving as the base for a half-dozen researchers.
