Last Thursday, the 90-member Video Game Orchestra (VGO) took the stage at a sold-out Berklee Performance Center.

VGO is a student/alumni-run, non-profit orchestra that exclusively performs contemporary, orchestral arrangements of video game music, all arranged by student composers. The orchestra includes players from over 20 countries and are students in the Berklee College of Music, The Boston Conservatory, The New England Conservatory, and Boston University.

Last week, WBUR’s Andrea Shea interviewed a number of executives involved with game audio, including Turbine’s Steve DiGregorio. Check out the WBUR transcript here and you can also listen to the full radio segment here.
